Network (1976)

Sydney Lumet died recently. At some point ten years ago he'd been shown a short film I did & had complimented the acting (I was told this later by the film's director); I'd hoped one day to run into Lumet & remind him, or something.

Anyhow, we watched his movie Network (1976) last night--- I'd never seen it. Certainly worth the watch & very prescient in re today's media marketplace. I'm glad now I didn't see it when I was younger: I might have run into the street shouting w/ an uzi made of hotdogs (trailer below). ~W

Spies Reunited

I love the funny people I know. Thank gollygolls for them.

James + Heather are SPIES:

Eagles Are Turning People Into Horses: The Movie

This was recommended to me yesterday by a friend whose comic sensibilities I have trusted. I was not ready to watch a 15-minute funny short film at the time. Today over lunch, my mood wasn't that improved, but I went ahead & watched it anyway. Hooray for that: this film had me hooked, then unhooked, then hooked again. It's all according to your taste, here's hoping you get the point of it all.
